What will I need to do to receive
donated eggs ?

Schedule a Medical Examination

Schedule a medical examination with one of our three Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologists. You will be evaluated and if donor oocytes are deemed necessary you will be referred to our Donor Egg Program. This medical evaluation includes:

  • A gynecological exam with vaginal cultures and blood work for communicable diseases.

Note: Recipients over the age of 44 need additional testing, referred to as Maternal Age Screening, to include:

  • Physical exam by a General Medical Doctor
  • Pre-pregnancy evaluation by a Perinatologist (Ob/gyn specializing in high risk pregnancy)
  • Cardiac clearance

Recipient's male partners are also screened, screening to include:

  • Blood test for communicable diseases
  • Semen analysis and morphology index
  • Freezing a semen sample for use during procedure if necessary

Meet with one of our Donor Egg Nurse Coordinators

At the meeting with the nurse you will discuss the following:

  • The donor/recipient process
  • Timing of donor/recipient cycles
  • Medications
  • Current Fees
  • Donor Availability
  • Note: There is no wait list for a donor at the present time. We have screened donors available now. The recipient screening process is individual to your medical needs. It is possible for a motivated recipient to be fully screened and ready to select a donor in as little as two weeks.

Psychosocial Evaluation

Schedule an appointment for a psychosocial evaluation for you and your partner.

When all screening is complete you will proceed to the next step.
